The Mindset Theory

The Mindset Theory explained, from my perspective. Leadership Must Evolve! Emotional Intelligence (EI) (EQ), has been around for more than thirty years and I believe it has reached a Mindset Plateau. It starts with the Fixed Mindset as you enter the workplace. As employees advance into management development, the Growth Mindset is achieved. Now, managers have the knowledge of their own emotions, yet the employees do not. This is called the Mindset Gap. I propose the next step called the Evolved Mindset! For decades now, companies have sent managers to Emotional Intelligence courses that continue to teach the understanding there own emotions. Emotional Evolution (EEQ) is the belief that managers use those tools and bring in the Heart to make decisions. By bringing in the heart managers work together to help everyone grow emotionally, socially, and connect more deeply with one another. DON'T FORGET YOUR HEART!!
